Only a portion of residential solid waste collection customers in the City of Prescott will be affected by the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.
There will be no trash collection for residential or commercial customers on Wednesday, December 25, and Wednesday, January 1.
Residential customers with a Wednesday or Thursday collection day will have their collection delayed by one day during the weeks of Christmas and New Year’s. Route collection dates will return to normal beginning the week of January 6.
Commercial routes with Wednesday pickups will also be delayed one day during the same period.
The City of Prescott Transfer Station will be closed on Wednesday, December 25, and Wednesday, January 1.
