Local scoreboard from yesterday, in basketball, for the guys, Yavapai College fell to Arizona Western 85-64. Jason Parent notched 16 points. Bradshaw Mountain fell to Dysart 65-46. Cam Ranniker posted 12 points. Mayer went 1-4 at the PCDS Classic.
Ladies, Yavapai College got topped by Arizona Western 82-36. Asia Ward garnered 12 points. Prescott lost to Sunnyslope 52-28. Bella Abt netted 10 points.
In soccer, the Prescott boys went 1-3 at the Ben Franklin Classic.
In wrestling, at the Conner Openheim Open, Embry-Riddle’s Adam Stanley and Corbin Hayes both finished fourth. Prescott lost to Corona del Sol and Yuma Catholic at the Nate Johnson Duals. At the Pat Kenny Invitational, the Chino Valley boys finished tenth, and the girls were fourth. Wyatt Kunaschk and Lilliana Rodriguez were champions in their weight classes for the boys and girls, respectively.
