Construction has begun on the new scale and fee booths at the City of Prescott’s solid waste facility. New retaining walls are also being built. Motorists traveling through this stretch of Sundog Ranch Road may encounter rough road conditions, reduced speeds, lane restrictions, and flaggers directing traffic.
Access to the Peavine Trail and Yavapai Humane Society will be maintained during this project, but the recycling bins at the transfer station are temporarily closed. Work hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Thursday.
The project should be finished by the end of the year.
