A couple of Prescott fire officials took part in the recent Arizona Wildland Urban Interface Summit in Tucson. Chief Holger Durre was the event’s keynote speaker. In addition, Wildfire Risk Manager Conrad Jackson spoke with other attendees to come up with ideas to better protect Prescott from the threat of wildfires.
Nearly 200 people attended the three-day event and discussed issues like wildfire prevention, community wildfire protection plans, fire-adapted communities, and the ongoing insurance crisis.
