After getting roughed up by Sunnyslope last Saturday, the Prescott girls basketball team was looking for a pick-me-up. They got it last night when they traveled to Gilbert to take on American Leadership Academy Gilbert North. It turned into a one-sided affair, with the Lady Badgers coming away with a 69-45 triumph.
It was a big night on offense for both Bella Abt and Addie Prischiandaro. The pair combined for 43 of Prescott’s 69 points, with “Addie-cadabra” notching 22 points and Abt posting 21 points.
The win puts the Lady Badgers’ overall record at 6-3 on the season. They are also 2-1 in their December games. Prescott has a long layoff between games; they don’t play again until December 23rd when they go to the Footprint Center – home of the Phoenix Suns – to play St. Mary’s. The team then hosts the Lady Badger Winter Classic on January 2nd and 3rd.
