The Bradshaw Mountain girls basketball team trailed by 14 points at one point of last night’s contest with Cactus Shadows. But the Lady Bears’ offense ignited in the fourth quarter as they notched 18 points to catch up to the Lady Falcons. Those 18 points, however, were not enough as Bradshaw came up short 52-50.
Emma Johnson tallied 16 points for the lady bears. Kalli Smith recorded 12 points, nine rebounds, and four steals. Kenna Martinez posted ten points.
Meanwhile, it was a rough night for the Bradshaw Mountain boys basketball team as they could not get their offense going. That resulted in a 66-38 loss to Cactus Shadows. Preston Ranniker notched 12 points. Kylin Jackson netted eleven points, and “The Phantom” Michael Crawford put up seven points.
Both teams are back in action tonight versus Cactus. The boys are home and the girls and the girls are in Glendale. Tip-off for both games is 7 p.m.
