Three candidates are vying for a chance to serve out the remainder of Chris Kuknyo’s District Four seat on the Yavapai College District Governing Board. County Schools Superintendent Tim Carter announced he received letters of interest from Alex Daniels, Henry Ebarb, and Patrick Kuykendall.
Daniels is a graduate of Chino Valley High School, Yavapai College, and Northern Arizona University, and works as an IT professional for Yavapai County Government. Ebarb is also a graduate of Chino Valley High School, Yavapai College, and Northern Arizona University, and owns several local businesses. Kuykendall is a Prescott High School graduate who served in the U.S. Army and the Arizona Army National Guard, retiring as a First Sergeant.
Superintendent Carter is expected to announce his appointment to the board on Wednesday. The appointed individual will begin their term on January 1, 2025. The term is valid through December 31, 2026. Kuknyo is leaving the Yavapai College Governing Board to serve on the County Board of Supervisors.
