Forty-one vehicles were pulled over during a speed enforcement detail conducted last Wednesday by the Chino Valley Police Department.
Police officials report that officers issued 26 speed citations, three citations for other infractions, four warnings, and one seat belt citation. One person was arrested for criminal speed. Assisting Chino Valley Police in this enforcement detail were personnel from the Prescott Police Department, Prescott Valley Police Department, and the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
Funding for this operation came from the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety. Chino Valley Police officials state the purpose of this enforcement detail is to improve traffic safety.
