The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office received a donation this week that will be directed to the agency’s employee fund. Jesse Morales, associate pastor of The Potter’s House Church in Prescott, told Sheriff David Rhodes that the congregation and its leadership wanted to express their gratitude to law enforcement personnel for their sacrifice to serve and protect the public.
A check for $5,000 was presented to the sheriff by Pastor Morales, which will be used to assist YCSO employees and their families in times of special need. Sheriff Rhodes stated the donation will help cover expenses not included in the YCSO annual budget.
The Potter’s House has previously donated funds to support the care and training of the YCSO K-9 unit.
