City of Prescott Will Dispose of Your Christmas Trees

Christmas is over, and the City of Prescott can help you get rid of your live trees. The city’s Solid Waste Division will collect Christmas trees during the week of January 6. You are instructed to leave your Christmas tree curbside by 6 a.m. on the day of your normal trash pick-up. All decorations must be removed from your tree before putting it curbside. City officials also ask that you do not bag your tree. This is for live trees only; no artificial trees will be collected.

If you miss this service or do not want to wait for it, the Prescott Transfer Station on Sundog Ranch Road will dispose of your Christmas trees at no cost from December 30 until January 10.
