They showed that they could be key players for the Embry-Riddle men’s soccer team and top students at the same time. Four Eagles earned spots on the 2024 College Sports Communicators All-District Academic Team. They are Roei Nir, Nitai Bental, Elias Ammon, and Francesco Busini. They were selected for the honor based on their performances both on the field and in the classroom.
Nir, a senior from Tel Aviv, Israel, is an aerospace engineering major who made the All-Great Southwest Athletic Conference Team. Bental, who hails from Shoham, Israel, is also an aerospace engineering major and an All-GSAC selection. Ammon, a global business major from Bremen, Germany, made the All-District Academic Team for the second year in a row and is a two-time All-Conference selection. Busini, who is from Rome, Italy, is a mechanical engineering major who made the All-Conference Team for the second time in his career.
