Our local soccer teams saw much success on the pitch this fall, and these young men and women were a big reason for it. That’s why they are on the KYCA All-Area Team.
The top contributors for Yavapai College were Eric Quirarte, Koddee Karcher, Ricardo Juarez, and Ian Lama for the men, and Tallon Bennett, Keira Campbell, Chloe Brand, Ade Bonner, Reagan Peterson, and Sophia Fotrell for the women.
The top players for Embry-Riddle were Elias Ammon, Roei Nir, Nitai Bental, Aleksandar Mihajlovic, and Francesco Busini for the men, and Rae Yoshioka, Jamie Black, Jamie Brandon, Ellie Neal, Hannah Draper, Aubrie Labno, Scarlett Frohardt, and Annabelle Ruckle for the women.
Over at Chino Valley, Corbin McGuffey, Miguel Sanchez, Chris Estrada, Jackson Hawks, Angel Sanchez, Trypp Challenger, and Ryan Garden were big reasons the boys made it to the final four of state, while Livia McMains, Sage Rhys-Evans, Lexi Polacek, Diana Montes, Brielle Bell, and Natalie Graham powered the girls team.
