The Bradshaw Mountain boys basketball team continues to try and move up in the Grand Canyon Region standings. They began Tuesday night in third place behind Coconino and first-place Prescott, so they needed a win against Lee Williams to keep pace . . . and they got it. The Bears left Kingman with a 61-50 triumph.
Cam Ranniker led Bradshaw in scoring with 16 points, while his brother Preston notched 14 points. Kylin Jackson netted eleven points, and Jayden Blasczyk chipped in eight points.
The Bears have won three of their last four games and are 14-8 overall on the season and 4-2 in region play.
It was also a successful night for the Bradshaw Mountain girls basketball team as they upended Lee Williams 46-29. Big night for Kalli Smith as she posted a career-high 21 points, along with eleven rebounds, five assists, and three blocks. Emma Johnson garnered 12 points.
The Lady Bears are 7-9 overall on the season.
