Cottonwood Police Arrest Man Wanted for Child Sexual Assault

A 61-year-old Lake Havasu City man, wanted on multiple felony child-related crimes in Utah, was arrested by Cottonwood police officers after they conducted a traffic stop on his vehicle.

On Wednesday, Cottonwood police were alerted to a vehicle associated with a suspect wanted in Utah. The vehicle had been spotted driving in the area shortly before officers were dispatched to locate it.

Officers quickly located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. The driver and sole occupant, Robbin Ray Terrell, had an active felony warrant issued by the Weber County Attorney’s Office in Utah. Terrell was taken into custody without incident.

He was transported to the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office Detention Facility in Camp Verde, where he remains pending extradition to Utah. Terrell faces one count of aggravated sexual assault of a child and 20 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, all felony charges. The warrant carries no bond and includes nationwide extradition.
