The list of potential candidates for Prescott City Council keeps growing. Six people have submitted statements of interest to run for the three seats up for election. This includes former City Councilman Greg Lazzell, who was first elected to council back in 2013.
Also submitting statements of interest to run are Mary Fredrickson, Robert Garing, Henry Ebarb the Second, Lara Hamidi-Ismert, and San Martin Rodriguez.
Two people have submitted statements of interest to run for mayor. They are current City Council members Brandon Montoya and Cathey Rusing.
This year’s primary election is scheduled for August 5th.
