Local scoreboard from the weekend, in basketball, the Yavapai College men lost to Southern Nevada 80-72. Jason Parent put up 22 points. The Yavapai women fell to Southern Nevada 85-47. Aysja Ward recorded ten points.
Baseball, Embry-Riddle got swept in back-to-back doubleheaders by number eleven ranked Southwestern.
Track and field, at the NAU Tune-Up, Embry-Riddle’s Nick Logan placed second in the men’s mile, and Zoe Tizard was second in the women’s 3,000-meter run.
