The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office is putting on a scam seminar Thursday morning in Mayer. Fraud investigator Ron Norfleet will present information on how to protect yourself from falling victim to the numerous scams targeting Yavapai County residents. The Sheriff’s Office reports last year it received almost 550 reports of scams and frauds.
The seminar takes place in the Mayer Library at 10004 South Wicks Street at 10 a.m.
