Another week of lane restrictions are in store for I-17 through Yavapai County this week. The interstate between New River Road and Sunset Point will be narrowed to one lane starting at either 6 p.m. or 7 p.m. and lasting until either 6 a.m. or 7 a.m. through Saturday to accommodate bridge work, electrical work, and the installation and removal of concrete barriers.
Motorists traveling through this stretch of the interstate should allow for extra time to reach their destination and be alert for construction personnel and equipment. This is part of the I-17 improvement project, which should be completed later this year.
