BMHS Boys Basketball Topped by Sahuaro in State Tournament

The Bradshaw Mountain boys basketball team went into the 4-A Conference State Tournament as the 16th and final seed. That earned them a trip to Tucson Wednesday night, where they had to face the number one seed Sahuaro. While the Bears did well in the early part of the game, they struggled offensively in the middle frames and had trouble taking care of the ball. The Cougars took full advantage of that to build up a big lead and hand Bradshaw the 62-38 loss.

Cam Ranniker and Jayden Blasczyk both recorded eleven points. Mason Brambila tallied nine points. The loss brings to an end the Bears’ 2024-2025 season.

Other state tournament results from last night: Number eight Dysart upended number nine Paradise Honors 62-46. The Demons will face Sahuaro in the Elite Eight of state tomorrow.
