Units from the Prescott Fire Department and Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority were called out to a structure fire on Seri Drive and Copper Basin Road Friday evening. The blaze was brought under control quickly and no humans were injured. Firefighters did rescue several pets from the home, including one cat that was treated for smoke inhalation.
Prescott Fire Department officials report the snowy weather did not greatly impact firefighting efforts. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
