The driver of a car being stopped for a traffic violation was arrested when he allegedly threw a bag of methamphetamine out the window. Last Friday, around 6:30 p.m., K9 deputies with the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop in the lower Oak Creek part of Cornville.
The car initially failed to pull over, but was forced to after they turned down a dead-end road. Deputies noticed the driver throw a bag out the window, which was later determined to contain meth.
The driver was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs and unlawful flight from law enforcement.
