YCSO Deals With Two Trespassers on Same Cordes Lakes Property

Trespassers on different days were arrested after they entered the same condemned residence. On Thursday before noon, Yavapai County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a possible trespassing in Cordes Lakes after they learned that a male on a bike was entering a residence that had been condemned. When deputies arrived, it was apparent the suspect was still inside.

When the suspect exited, he proceeded to give deputies a false name. It was quickly discovered who he was, at which time he was arrested. While detained in the back of the patrol car, the suspect allegedly caused damage to the inside liner of the door in an attempt to open it. Charges include trespassing, false reporting to law enforcement, criminal damage to a patrol car, taking identity of another, and promoting prison contraband.

Then, on Sunday around 5:30 p.m., another report of someone else trespassing on the same condemned Cordes Lakes property brought more YCSO deputies to the property. Upon their arrival, it was apparent the suspected trespasser was still in the structure. After several attempts to call the person out, a female eventually came to the door. Several items of drug paraphernalia were then discovered inside the residence. The woman was arrested on having a valid warrant, possession of drug paraphernalia, and criminal trespass.
