PHS Baseball Mashes Mohave

The Prescott baseball team spent Saturday in Bullhead City, taking on Mohave in a double-header. Home field advantage did not exist at all for the Thunderbirds as the Badgers owned game one with a 13-0 victory. Lukas Tobin and Travis Gates both drove in two runs. Cooper Magnett went 2-for-2 with an RBI and two runs scored. Nick Martin went 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored. Gates was the winning pitcher with four strikeouts.

Game two was another rout for Prescott as they got the 15-0 triumph. Parker Reed had three RBIs. Ivan Schuster had two RBIs and three runs scored. Colton Champion, Ashton Whitwell, and William Horn all drove in two runs. Horn and Matt Hepperle combined for a no-hitter in a game that lasted just three innings due to the mercy rule.

The Badgers are now 4-3 on the season.
