The Embry-Riddle baseball team spent the weekend in Orem, and it proved to be a tough weekend for them. The Eagles went up against Utah Valley University. The Wolverines started strong, going up 8-0 after two innings in Friday’s series opener. Utah Valley went on to win 12-3. Konner Nelson had an RBI and two runs scored.
Saturday’s contest was a much closer affair. Riddle was right there with the Wolverines the whole way, but lost 6-4. Connor Rosinski drove in three runs for the Eagles. Roberto Graza-Nunez belted a solo home run.
Game three on Sunday was a very one-sided affair, with Utah Valley getting the 19-1 win. Rosinski got the lone Riddle run on an RBI groundout. Graza-Nunez went 3-for-4.
Embry-Riddle wraps up its series with Utah Valley today. They are back home this Friday and Saturday versus The Master’s University.
