Prescott and Bradshaw Mountain had plenty of representation on the All-Grand Canyon Region Boys Soccer Team. Two of the biggest awards went to a pair of Badgers. Cole Schumann was voted the overall Region Player of the Year. He posted two goals and six assists. Casey DeVito was named the Region Offensive Player of the Year, recording 19 goals and eight assists.
Both Schumann and DeVito were also All-Region First Team selections, along with Prescott’s Taylor Keppel, Arthur Kurnat, and Rico Gutierrez, and Bradshaw Mountain’s Ethan and Will Smith. Second Team selections were Prescott’s Brady Costes, Roman DeWeese, Stoney Booth, and Antonio Penazola, and Bradshaw’s Alan Flores.
Picking up All-Region Honorable Mentions were the Badgers’ Marco Campuzano, Brenton Keppel, Johann Munoz, and Alexander Poynor, and the Bears’ Colin Bowser, Caden Dabney, August Green-Keating, and Alexis Perez.
Prescott’s Phil Reid was voted Grand Canyon Region Coach of the Year.
