The Yavapai County Board of Supervisors gather in Cottonwood for their regular meeting Wednesday morning. Items the board will consider include possible amendments to the process to appoint a replacement for the Yavapai County District 2 Supervisor. The board is also expected to approve the acceptance of a grant allocation for over $807,000 from the Arizona Department of Public Safety for the Sheriff’s Department Local Border Support Program.
Presentations of the 2024 Golden Plate Awards for food establishments in the Verde Valley are also to take place.
The 9 a.m. meeting will be held in the Yavapai County Administrative Services Verde Valley Complex Hearing Room, on the first floor, at 10 South 6th Street in Cottonwood.
