Local scoreboard from yesterday, in baseball, Yavapai College swept the Langley Blaze 15-8 and 10-0. Justin Cherrington and Carson Feddema both had four RBIs on the day. Chino Valley dealt with Camp Verde 7-5. Caden Todd was the winning pitcher with four strikeouts.
Softball, Bradshaw Mountain lost to Mingus 12-10. Payton Hoops had two triples and five RBIs.
Golf, the Embry-Riddle women won the Master’s University Invitational and the men finished third. Olivia Zamarrippa tied for third for the women and Prescott alum Scotty Jackson tied for seventh for the men.
On the alumni front, at the NJCAA Division Two Men’s Basketball National Tournament, Pima College drubbed SUNY Niagara 99-66. Ex-Bradshaw Mountain player Mason Hunt notched 20 points.
