ERAU Baseball Wins Three of Four From The Master’s

The Embry-Riddle baseball team kicked off its four-game series with The Master’s University by going on an offensive tear, stomping the Mustangs 12-2 in Game One Friday. Blake Moore and Roberto Garza-Nunez both drove in three runs. Jesse Kaphing was the winning pitcher with eleven strikeouts. Game Two, however, did not go the Eagles’ way as they lost to The Master’s 14-6.

In Saturday’s twinbill, Riddle’s bats went nuclear and laid waste to the Mustangs 25-5. James Warren socked two home runs and drove in five runs. Owen Cain homered and drove in five runs. Caden Truman went 5-for-5 with a home run, four RBIs, and six runs scored. In the series finale, Blake Moore’s walk-off single gave Riddle the 6-5 triumph. Warren belted his third home run of the day.

The Eagles are 9-20 overall on the season, and 5-1 in GSAC competition.
