It was all Bradshaw Mountain all day long on the tennis court. Both the boys and girls teams were in Phoenix Tuesday to take on North Canyon. The boys owned the entire match, getting the 9-0 sweep of the Rattlers.
The most competitive match of the day was at number four singles, which Bracken Kleinman won 6-3, 6-1. Colton Wood scored a 6-0, 6-0 victory at number five singles. Number one and number two singles, Nathan Kleinman and Peter Dodoff, both won their singles matches 6-1, 6-2. The Kleinmans also had an 8-2 win in doubles.
On the girls’ side, Bradshaw Mountain got the 7-2 win over North Canyon. Maggie Grzelak won in a third-set tiebreaker at number two singles 6-3, 1-6, and 10-6. Sasha Messerly notched a 6-3, 6-3 win at number six singles. Grzelak and Rylei Haese posted an 8-3 win in doubles.
Both teams are back in action tomorrow for rivalry day against Prescott. The boys are at Prescott, and the girls are home.
