They rocked Mohave 13-0 and 15-0 in a double-header on March 15th. Then they socked it to Agua Fria Monday 15-0. On Tuesday, the Prescott baseball team continued its rampage, starting off their game against Coconino with an 8-0 first inning. The Badgers did not score again until the fifth inning when they plated three more runs to get the 11-1 run-rule victory over the Panthers.
Adrian Sanderford went the distance for the win, striking out nine. Colton Champion went 3-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs scored. Jacob Patterson, Cooper Magnett, and Ivan Shuster each drove in two runs.
Prescott is now 6-3 overall on the season and is on a five-game winning streak. The Badgers have a re-match with Coconino tomorrow in Flagstaff. Then on Monday, it’s rivalry night as Prescott is at Bradshaw Mountain for a 7 PM tilt.
