Trying to get the word out about an emergency to the public quicker. That’s what the Chino Valley Police Department discussed during a presentation at Tuesday’s Town Council meeting.
Lieutenant Randy Chapman says one method for that is for citizens to sign up for the RAVE system, which allows the police to directly e-mail or text them:
Chapin also mentions that Chino Valley utilizes the Genasys Evac system, which helps set up evacuation zones during an emergency.
