Yavapai County Sheriff David Rhodes is inviting public comment on the reckless driving and speeding issues on Williamson Valley Road. The tragic accident on March 22nd marked the 3rd fatal crash on Williamson Valley Road, along with 7 injury crashes in the last 9 to 10 months.
YCSO has stopped over 90 drivers on Williamson Valley Road since the beginning of 2025. In 2024, deputies stopped over 330 drivers for violations, and only about 170 in 2023.
Regardless of the fact that YCSO has increased its patrols on this two-lane roadway, reckless driving and speeding still occur.
If you would like to attend this public meeting, it will be held on Tuesday at 6 p.m. at CAFMA Station 61 at 1133 West Road 3 North, in Chino Valley.
