BMHS Tennis Erases Deer Valley

Deer Valley gave the Bradshaw Mountain tennis teams few problems in their matches yesterday. The girls ruled the day down in Glendale as they got the 9-0 sweep of the Lady Skyhawks.

The most competitive matches of the day came at number four and number six singles, where Kaylene Osoria and Rylei Haese got the win 6-2 and 6-1. “The Keymaster” Lucy Keyes notched a 6-0, 6-1 win at number one singles, while Maggie Grzelak got the 6-1, 6-1 win in number two singles. Keyes and Osoria also had an 8-2 victory in doubles.

The win gives the Lady Bears a 5-2 record for the season. They have also won three of their last four matches.

The Bradshaw Mountain boys also had a successful day versus Deer Valley, getting the 7-2 triumph. Singles and doubles results were not available prior to airtime. The Bears improve to 3-4 on the season.

Both teams are back in action tomorrow against Flagstaff. The boys are home and the girls head up north for their match.
