Riley Schroeder won’t have to leave Arizona to continue playing soccer. The Prescott defender signed with Park University in Gilbert.
Schroeder tells The News what made her settle on Park as her landing spot:
Schroeder plans to major in business. She says she is excited to play a little over two hours away from Prescott so her family and friends can come watch her. In her senior season, Schroeder was selected to the All 4A Conference First Team and the All-Grand Canyon Region First Team while helping Prescott finish as state runners-up.
She will also put in occasional appearances in Prescott as both Park and Embry-Riddle are members of the GSAC.
