Candidates for Prescott mayor and city council are continuing to submit their nominating petitions. Councilman Brandon Montoya and Councilwoman Cathey Rusing have officially filed their petitions to run for mayor.
Meanwhile, Mary Fredrickson and Robert Garing have submitted their petition packets for one of the three open city council seats.
Candidates that still need to file include Henry Ebarb the Second, Greg Lazzell, Jay Ruby, and Michael Kabbel. They have until today to do so.
Prescott’s primary election is scheduled for August 5th.
