Local scoreboard from yesterday, the Chino Valley softball team got doubled-up by Winslow 4-2. Aden Hubble scored both Chino Valley runs, and Kinsey Murphy fanned ten.
The Bradshaw Mountain boys volleyball team lost to Cactus 3-1.
At the Chino Valley track and field multi-meet, Chino’s Isaac Duran won both the boys long jump and triple jump, and Carlee Murphy was first in the girls 800 and 3,200 meter runs.
Alumni update time: Former Yavapai College baseball player Ryan Pruitt is having a good season at South Florida. He’s batting .256 with five homers, 25 RBIs, seven doubles, 30 runs scored, and ten stolen bases.
