The Yavapai County Board of Supervisors made its choice on who will fill the seat vacated by James Gregory. At its meeting Wednesday, the board unanimously voted for Denise Jenkins to become the new county supervisor representing District Two.
Jenkins’ appointment is contingent on her resigning as the mayor of Camp Verde. She had served on the Camp Verde Town Council prior to becoming mayor in 2020. She will serve out the term of James Gregory, who stepped down from the Board of Supervisors earlier this year to accept the job as chief of police of Williams.
