A plan to create a way to ease the movement of traffic between Prescott and Prescott Valley was brought forth, studied, and presented to the public in early 2024. The Sundog Ranch Connector plan didn’t gather much steam at the time and was shelved.
The News 1490 asked the Executive Director of the Central Yavapai Metropolitan Planning Organization, or ‘CYMPO’, Vinnie Gallegos, where the plan stands over one year later:
Gallegos says CYMPO is currently updating its 2050 Regional Transportation Plan, which should be available in May.
