CVHS Baseball Derails Parker

April has been a tough month for the Chino Valley baseball team. Going into Thursday, the Cougars had dropped four of their five games this month. But they really wanted their fortunes to change against Parker, to the point they tallied seven runs in the first two innings. Chino added a few more onto their side of the scoreboard while keeping a lid on the Broncs’ offense for the 11-4 victory.

Caden Todd drove in three runs and scored twice. Hudson Sapko and Kaycin Pickett both had two RBIs. Jacob Boivin had an RBI and two runs scored. He was also the winning pitcher with eight strikeouts. Ryan LaMotte and Freddie Garcia each drove in a run.

Chino Valley is now 7-10-1 overall and 3-6 in 3A West Region play. The Cougars are back in action Monday when they host Tonopah Valley.
