APS workers from around the state will be in Yavapai County Wednesday to conduct tower rescue training. Twenty APS lineworkers will gather near Dugas and Orme Road, where they will practice climbing up and rappelling down a 200-foot tower. The session runs from 10 a.m. to noon.
APS officials say this technique was used last year by a lineworker to remove a bear cub from a pole.
