Some Road Work Delays Due to Weather in Tri-City Area

As various roadwork projects have been conducted in the Prescott and Prescott Valley areas, both construction and town personnel have been forced to work around the recent winter weather. While no projects in Prescott Valley were required to delay the completion date, the bollard installation project in Prescott was initially pushed back. However, Prescott Deputy Public Works Director Janet Ramsey reports construction crews were able to get back on schedule, and the project is expected to be complete by May 19.

She says the city has also planned for delays due to abnormal weather, as the city begins the asphalt treatment project on Gurley and Whipple Streets. Both Prescott Valley and Prescott officials tell The News the weather has not caused any projects to exceed their budgets.
