Access to downtown Prescott will be limited this weekend due to the Whiskey Off-Road bike event. The following street will be closed Friday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.: eastbound Union Street from Cortez Street to Alarcon Street; Alarcon Street from Gurley Street to Carleton Street; Carleton Street from Pleasant Street to Montezuma Street; and Goodwin Street from Cortez Street to Pleasant Street.
These streets will be closed from Friday at 5 a.m. through Sunday at 6 p.m.: Montezuma Street from Gurley Street to Carleton Street, and Goodwin Street from Cortez Street to Granite Street.
Due to this closure, a detour route on Highway 89/Montezuma Street will be marked at Alarcon. Highway/Montezuma from Alarcon to Carleton will remain open for business traffic only.
Some streets in downtown Prescott will be closed intermittently while the race is underway.
