ERAU Softball and Baseball Players Earn GSAC Honors

Leah Salas and Vanessa Brink led the way for post-season honors picked up by the Embry-Riddle softball team. Salas was named the Great Southwest Athletic Conference Player of the Year. She hit .504 with 12 home runs, 39 RBIs, and 44 runs scored this season. Brink took home GSAC Pitcher of the Year honors. She went 19-4 with a 1.79 ERA and 132 strikeouts.

Three other players made the All-GSAC team. Lily Anderson batted .416 with three home runs and 27 RBIs; Autumn Sulusi hit .409 with five homers and 41 RBIs, and Jade Bayless batted .434 with seven home runs and 37 RBIs. Salas, Sulusi, Anderson, and Bayless were also named to the All-GSAC Gold Glove team.

The Embry-Riddle baseball team had two players recognized by the GSAC. Connor Rosiniski was named the conference Freshman of the Year. He hit .301 with a home run and 19 RBIs. Owen Cain was an All-GSAC team selection with a .331 average, five homers, and 33 RBIs.
