The Prescott Police Department just wrapped up its six-week Citizens Academy – a hands-on program giving local residents a closer look at how law enforcement works in their community.
Participants met with department leadership, learning firsthand about the departments and services that keep Prescott safe, from patrol and investigations to K9 and community outreach.
Deputy Chief Jon Brambila tells The News how the spring class graduation night went:
The Citizens Academy aims to build transparency and trust between officers and the public, offering a behind-the-scenes view of modern policing.
If you missed this round, don’t worry – Prescott PD offers another Citizens Academy in the fall.
