It was a tremendous year for many of our local track and field athletes, and that got them on the KYCA All-Area Team. For Prescott, the girls produced several state champs with Violet Williams, Kenzie Blanchard, Aubrey Kitahata, Wiley Monnett, and Rylee Hobson, with Libby Hlavacek finishing high at state in the pole vault. Top performers on the boys side were Luke Mason, KJ Greenfield, and Eli Allen.
Bradshaw Mountain’s key personnel were Andrew Van Dell, Will Smith, Damian Espinosa, Ashton Lindsay, Kayden Espinosa, and Trevor Head for the boys, and Sarah Dorsey, Bridget Bradshaw, Iliana Smith, Abigale Stapley, Lillie Ipson, and Chloe Zwak for the girls.
Chino Valley’s main point scorers were Michael Colasuonno, Matt Sibole, and Landon Smith for the boys, and Maddie and Eliana Metz, Carlee Murphy, Zoi Nagel, and Triniti Gray for the girls.
Embry-Riddle got top-notch performances from Nick Logan and Jacob Ortiz for the men, and Zoe Tizard and Mia Kemp for the women.
