In Prescott Valley, a tribute is now on display as the town unveiled 85 banners honoring its military heroes.
The Hometown Heroes Banner Project, championed by the mayor and town council, features veterans, active duty service members, and reservists with personal ties to the community.
Prescott Valley Town Manager, Gilbert Davidson tells The News:
A special section of “In Memoriam” banners lines the sidewalk on Skoog Boulevard, beside the Veterans Memorial between the Police Department and the Civic Center.
The banners will remain in place throughout the summer.
