The Central Yavapai Metropolitan Planning Organization (CYMPO) has released its ‘MOVE 2050’ draft plan for public comment. This regional transportation blueprint outlines future investments across Yavapai County, including roads, transit, and modes of travel like biking and walking.
The plan focuses on preserving existing infrastructure, modernizing roadways for safety and efficiency, and expanding capacity to meet future demands.
Community members can review the plan and share feedback now through June 24.
The draft is available online at cympo.org/move2050.
Comments can be submitted via survey, email, mail, or in person at the CYMPO office in Prescott.
This update is part of CYMPO’s regular five-year review to create a connected, adaptive transportation system for the region.
