Construction for the Summit Waterline Project near the Glassford Hill Summit Trail has begun. This project consists of installing a transmission main to pump water from the tanks on Prescott East Highway to the water tanks on Glassford Hill.
The Jasper Parkway will have safety signage and may experience construction impacts. The hiking trail will remain open and safe during construction. However, hikers are reminded to exercise caution and be aware of any trail detours.
The project should be completed sometime in September.
