Local scoreboard from the weekend, Embry-Riddle’s Jacob Ortiz finished 17th in the men’s 5,000 meter run at the NAIA national meet. With that, the 2024–25 scholastic sports season for the Tri-City area has officially come to an end.
School may be over, but Prescott athletes continue to commit to college. Track and field’s Wiley Monnett is going to West Virginia Wesleyan. She was part of the Lady Badgers’ state champion 4×100 and 4×400 relay teams.
