EX-BMHS & PHS Ballplayers Have Success in First Collegiate Seasons

Time to see how some former high school ballplayers are doing in the college ranks. Bradshaw Mountain grad Rylan Osbjornsen wrapped up his first season with the Big Bend Community College baseball team by hitting .301 with one home run, 17 RBIs, three doubles, one triple, 30 runs scored, 13 stolen bases, and a .416 on-base percentage.

Another former Bear, Shane Lievsay, had a good freshman season for the Bay College baseball team. He hit .347 for the Norse with nine RBIs, four doubles, one triple, 19 runs scored, ten stolen bases, and a .495 on-base percentage.

Over on the East Coast, Prescott alum Kennedy Carr completed her first season with the Daytona State softball team. She hit .340 with one home run, 17 RBIs, four doubles, one triple, 14 runs scored, one stolen base, and a .509 slugging percentage.
